"Summer Sunset" by Tracey Sabella

It's Friday, the final day of the RRR Pre-Labor Day Sale. Go here for all the details and to get your coupon code to use at checkout.

Hi, it's Tracey here to share a new project with you featuring Really Reasonable Ribbon and Bonnie's new Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Flowers.

Each season has its particular beauty, and a summer sunset at the beach has its own special glory. This photo was taken last summer when Gary and I went to the East Coast for our 30th anniversary. One evening we went to the beach and boardwalk of Atlantic City. The Boardwalk held little attraction for me, but the beauty of the sea was just amazing.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Products:

Tips and Techniques:
I created this triple loop bow with Sheer Iridescent Blue/Green Organza Ribbon by May Arts. I used a variation of Ginny's Double Loop Bow Tutorial found here

Included in my cluster are some of Bonnie's new Wild Orchid Crafts Mulberry Flowers which are a new offering at RRR. Here I've used the White Sweetheart BossomsWhite/Cream Cherry Blossoms, and the White 30mm Wild Roses

Here you can see another of the Sweetheart Blossoms tucked in with a Petaloo flower and Spellbinders Foliage leaves that remind me of seaweed.

I painted the leafy DA chipboard flourishes with several shades of metallic Lumiere paint, then added some gold Shimmerz Blingz to highlight.

Here's a recent layout I created for Donna Salazar Designs that included ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store.

"Timeless Love"

You can see I used the Sheer Iridescent Champagne Ribbon to create a double loop bow and to weave through the punched doily design.

Now hop on over to the Really Reasonable Store to pick up your ribbon, flowers, and more. Don't forget, today is the final day of Bonnie's Pre-Labor Day Sale. You have until midnight EDT to use your coupon code.

You are Treasured

4 Day Pre-Labor Sale here

It's hard to believe that it is the end of August already!  Where did the summer go?  lol  Just a fun little card today that I made to share with the lovely ladies of the USA stamping Club at my local craft store.  Our tutorial last night was on Zantangle!  LOVE IT!  As a matter of fact, we all gave it a try and if you would like to see what I created with it, visit my blog today!  I'll have that as well as a link to my You- Tube video (hopefully) with a full tutorial on this project!  lol

But, I digress, the theme to follow this month was water???  I know most of you have one or two scenic stamps maybe from Northwood or other company, but I have absolutely 0
That's right 0!

So I've decided to go with a nautical theme by adding some Jute String Natural from Really Reasonable Ribbon, one of my favorite button collections Latte and some terrific dies that are all nautical.  The friendly little lion stamp is just an extra I couldn't resist adding from 2 Cute Ink.

The Studio G pre-made card and envelope set was on sale so I snatched them up and fast!  When I got the set home and opened it, I realized that the score line was on the longer of the two edges of the card.   Because I had planned to make a scene out of it, I wanted to place the ribbon going vertically down the card and found a creative way to do it, so I though I would share it in this video.

If you give it a try with maybe wider ribbons or even some lace, be sure to send me a link so I can check it out won't you?  Have fun and I hope it is helpful.

Other contents:  Shapeology Dies by Whimsy
Ranger Distress Ink
Copics
Cuttlebut embossing folder

If you look carefully, the envelope is distressed and stamped as well to coordinate!

We do a monthly card swap so each of us bring 5 themed cards and go home with 5 different cards!  So fun!  All of these took about 1.5 hours so quick and simple today!  As a matter of fact, I've been doing clean and simple for most of this month!  NEW TREND for me! lol
Thanks for visiting,
Hugs,

Missing You- By Jenn Cochran

Hello RRR friends, fans and followers!  Cannot believe it is going to be Labor Day weekend!  WOW how time flies by.  Hope you are all having a fabulous Wednesday.  Happy Hump Day!!!

I decided to try something a bit different.  I wanted to incorporate 2 different ribbons in one bow.  I used a small piece of Citrus Diagonal Striped Grosgrain to wrap around the center of my Satin With Grosgrain edge-Maize bow.  I really like how it turned out...how about you?

Satin With Grosgrain edge-Maize is such a beautiful color of yellow.  I love the deep gold tone of the color Maize.  Makes a perfect puffy little bow too!

My image is from Hambo Stamps-Bear Farmer.

Thanks so much for stopping by RRR and visiting me today.

Vintage Blue Mason Jar

Hello Peeps!
Happy Tuesday!!
Heather here and today I would like to share with you a small vintage blue looking mason jar that I altered for my mom.
I started out with a light blue Mason Jar, and I took off the top and painted it ivory.  I purchased this new from Meijer the other day.
I cut out my collage pieces, and inked them with Ranger's Vintage Photo Distress ink.  I used a fine tip applicator and added the Designer dries clear glue along both side edges of my square piece.
Next I added the Juliet Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon to my sides, I added the Foam Tabs to the back of my square piece.
I added the foam tabs to my heart, being careful to leave room so I could slide some ribbon behind the piece once I adhered it to my jar.
I centered my heart onto my pink square piece.  I added the foam tabs to my Pencils & Pens label.    I left the center open, because that part of the label will lay flat on the heart piece.
Next I wrapped my Edna Crochet Lace around my jar, trimmed it, then glued it in place.
Next I added my square piece to the jar.
Next I took the Satin Pearl Pink ribbon, and threaded it behind the heart image, and around my jar.  I tied it in a bow in the back.
I also took some of my favorite Light Pink Organza, wrapped it around the mouth of the jar, and tied a bow in the front.  Here is a shot from the side.
I added some designer dries clear glue with the fine tip applicator around the edges of heart and label.
Then I applied Rose Gold Ultrafine opaque glitter.
I added a sweet little button from the Vintage Button Bonanza Collection and tied a little bow with the Aqua Baker's Twine.  I placed my painted lid on top, and my sweet little jar is all finished.
I filled it with my mom's favorite candies, so she can keep it as it...till she wants to use it for Pencils & Pens.   I also bought some pencils and pens...we are always looking for a Pencil or a Pen when we are there...lol.
Here are a couple other photos.
The Back.
The side.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today!

Two Cards Today

Hello everyone, Cheryl here today to share a couple of cards made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful ribbons and flowers that Bonnie carries in the store.

This 1st card was designed using the beautiful Gingham Ribbon from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. Also, Bonnie now carries the beautiful Wild Orchid Craft flowers and you can find those here. I used 10mm on this card, along with some CottageCutz dies and a little sewing.

My 2nd card here is using the Brown Satin, and the beautiful Sweetheart Blossom flowers in white.  I did airbrush them and will have a video showing that shortly. I love how you can make them any color to match your projects!
I also used one of the white Open Roses in 20mm. These can be found here

I added some white doves, and my sewing to complete this second card.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
